First let me say this is one of the cutest dolls with adorable outfits, I have had the pleasure to make. The illustrations (I'm a visual learner) and the instructions were clear and easy for someone with no "doll" experience. I had just learned basic knitting so was delighted to see an offering of a sweater, hat and scarf for the little doll. It was so easy! Having a bit of sewing experience, I revised a few things: cleaned up raw edges by hemming, sewed second doll on machine instead of by hand and sewed the boy's ears on before stuffing doll--just seemed easier. But Jane Bull has offered the opportunity of guaranteed success if you have no sewing or knitting experience or a sewing machine! And, yes!, she shows you how to do it all very simply and clearly! I am so in love with my little "Lottie" doll and her adorable, clever clothes!
